Even if the T2 doesn't get the T-34 in its weak welding between the plates and score a probable 1 shot the T-34 still has a nasty habit of getting its breech knocked out even by a poorly aimed or snapshot. The T-34's armor has a nasty habit of not working as it says it should in the first place. I really don't think there's anything special about the T-34 to say it can "easily" beat a Tiger other than just being able to in the same manner any other comparable vehicle can. If the T-34 is coming to a stop his gun will wobble worse than the T2's so the T2 can get a better shot off first. In a 1v1 I'd say T34 can easily beat a Tiger, but Tiger will work better in an average RB match.ġ on 1 the T-34 will beat the Tiger 2 (it is important we keep in mind Tiger "2") only if the Tiger 2 lets it hit its cheeks* (we are assuming all confrontations are front to front and equally skilled tankers).

50cals, it's nothing significant but they can be useful against some wheeled vehicles you start seeing at 7.3+. 50mm in pen really isn't a big deal, if Tiger can't penetrate something the chances are T34 won't pen it either. Meanwhile with Tiger's gun you can just aim anywhere you can pen and it's almost guaranteed OHK + it reloads twice as fast. You need to know where to aim to detonate ammo or kill all crew members in one shot because reload is painfully long. T34 has better mobility in the way that it accelerates and turns faster, but Tiger beats it in a straight line.įinally the armament, T34 has a bit more penetration but post pen damage isn't the best. If you find find a position where you can hide your hull and just peak out to shoot, it can be quite tricky to kill. T34's turret is also extremely trolly and it's not uncommon to bounce shots from the side or from the rear. Any shot to Tiger's turret face will often detonate ammorack at the back. I'd say T34 wins in armor department, they both have obvious frontal weakspots but you can hide T34's hull, but can't really hide Tiger's turret. I haven't played T26E5 so can't tell, but can say something about Tiger and T34. Unless that's one of the T-32 models I am thinking off (which, incidentally, also didn't work as advertised for me, about as a letdown as the T-34 was). In general there's less to think about with the 2H than the T-34 and T26E5.Īlso, I think T-34 doesn't get HE filler in its APCBC. If they are exposed to flanking opponents and you got shells in there it's all over. One thing to always be mindful of is where the sides of the rear of your turret are. Your cheeks are week, but it's not a guaranteed shot for your opponent and you can make it all the worse for them buy turning your turret side to side in small quick sweeps.

As long as you're not too uptiered there's not as many options the enemy has on you if you keep your front towards them. The T26E5 however is great in hull down or if you can otherwise manage to only let them have your turret, but of the 3 in my experience the Tiger 2(H) has been more consistent. My T-34's armor never seemed to work right, or everyone knows to shoot where the LFP and UFP come together.
